Have your say on FODDC’s financial support for the voluntary sector
Deadline for survey comments is 1st November
The Forest of Dean District Council is reviewing the way it funds the voluntary and community sector to ensure it can meet the future needs of residents.
It intends to introduce a more flexible arrangement which will see funding awards increased from 1 year to 3 years thereby providing more security for the recipients.
FODDC aims to introduce the new funding arrangements in April 2019. However, before it makes key decisions on how the funding should be allocated it wants to test its thinking with local residents and the voluntary and community sector. With this in mind, it has launched a survey on its website which asks residents for comments on the proposals.
The survey is available now and the deadline for comments is Thursday 1 November.
Please try to find the time to complete this survey – it doesn’t take very long and your views will be of immense value.
